Stay energised by eating breakfast

If you’re missing out on breakfast, you’re missing out on a lot. By helping reduce mid-morning hunger pangs, and the temptation to snack on high-fat foods, having a good breakfast can actually help us maintain a healthy weight – a benefit for many people with osteoarthritis.

Breakfast provides us with the energy to get going and helps us meet the recommended dietary intakes for vitamins and minerals. What’s more, there’s evidence that having breakfast helps improve alertness, concentration, mental performance, mood and memory.

  • fruit – try to stick to two servings a day
